men left the hospital sooner and had less blood loss. In no-expert hands the incontinence and impotence rates were higher. This was a review of everyone doing the surgery and may not indicate an individual sugeons skill or complication rate.
The robot has caught on as a great way to remove the prostate because of enhaced visualization and aid of the pneumoperitoneum or gas used in laparoscopic surgery
