What are bumps on the penis? warts?
Patients often come in concerned about growths or bumps on the penis or scrotum. Some of these are conventional warts or HPV. Some are herpes, skin tags, small harmless polyps but occasionally a growth on the penis is cancer!
Typically I biopsy a representative “wart” and burn, freeze, or laser the rest. My dermatology colleagues and I have set up a separate website/blog to focus on the war on warts!
